Royce Albow Thompson was born July 18th, 1926 in Blair, Oklahoma. He passed away February 4th, 1967 in Lancaster, California. He lived his entire life in Altus until two years ago, when he moved to California to work Civil Service at Edwards Air Force Base. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of War. Royce was a graduate of Altus High School and a true Bull Dog. Royce is survived by two sons, Robert and Allen of Altus, Oklahoma and his mother Jewell Thompson and one brother Percy Thompson both of Altus, Oklahoma.
Services for Royce Albow Thompson are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 13th, 1967 at Tims Chapel of Memories with Rev. Gene Garrison Officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
