Obituary for Ruby Edna Chisholm
Ruby Edna Chisholm. 91, of Altus passed away Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at the Ayers nursing Home in Snyder.

She was born November 1, 1907 at Roswell, New Mexico to the late M.D. and Mable (Massie) Mayrhofen. She married Ernest Chisholm at the First Baptist Church in Altus. Ernest preceded her in death May of 1992. ruby worked for many years at Russell's Department Store, Watkins and the Booterie. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Gladys Foster; one niece, Jean Brazil and husband, Avery; two nephews, Fred Foster and wife, Sylvia and Jim Foster and wife, Linda all of Altus and a host of great-grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest and one sister, Lola Morris.

Graveside services were scheduled Friday, February 19, 1999 at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
