Obituary for Ruphus Lee Johnston
Mr. Ruphus L. Johnston, age 80. of Eldorado, died at his home Wednesday.
Funeral services for 2:30 Sunday at the Eldorado Church of Christ, officiated by Mark Legg and assisted by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born September 27th, 1899, at Comanche, Texas, he was married at Medicine Lodge, KS,
to the former Effie Taylor who survives of the home. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Eldorado Church of Christ.
Survivors, in addition to his wife include: two sons, Robert Johnston of Eldorado and George Johnston of Wilson, OK; two brothers, Jack Johnston of Mesa, AZ and Hank Johnston of Moab, Utah; four sisters, Bertha Enoch of Altus, Hazel Hill of Humphries, OK, Edith Carney of Los Lunas, NM and Wilma Pretzer of Eloy, AZ; seven grandchildren.
