Russell M. Hensley age 78 of Olustee, Oklahoma died at Lawton Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born February 5, 1887 in Boone County, Arkansas to Mack D. and Myea (Aldaka) Hensley. Russell had reside in Jackson County since 1897 and was a farmer. He married Jhonnie Lee February 4, 1917 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Russell M. Hensley are scheduled for June 1, 1966 at 2:00pm at Thomas Street Church of Christ in Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Joe Laird and Bill Osborne. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Hensley is survived by is wife, Johnnie of the home in Olustee, Oklahoma; one son, Harding Hensley, Altus, Oklahoma; one niece Faye Williams of Kermit, Texas, that was raised by Russell and Johnnie; three grandchildren, four brothers, W.A. Hensley, Gainesville, Texas; J.P. Hensley, Altus, Oklahoma; G.R. Hensley, Altus, Oklahoma; E.L. Altus, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Austin, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Myea Brisbin, Richmond, California.
