Sandra Kay Russo, age 67, of Altus, passed away early Sunday morning, September 27, 2015, at English Village Nursing Home.
Mrs. Russo was born in Dallas, Texas on November 6, 1947, to Weldon Eley and Katherine Alice (Cobb) Webb. A 1966 graduate of W.H. Adamson High School, in Dallas, she began a career with Southwestern Bell Telephone and retired after 33 years of service. In 2006, she moved to Hollis to be closer to her daughter and later moved to Altus in 2008. In her spare time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and listening to Gospel Music, but the most important thing was her family and especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lawrence and Weldon, she is survived three children, Johnny Russo and wife Lori of Frisco, Texas, Weldon Russo and wife Lori of Ft. Worth, Texas and Tamera Cantu of Altus; six grandchildren, Jordan Russo, Haley Russo, Emma Russo, Tatum Russo, Alexis Morrow and Gabriela Cantu along with many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory of Altus. A private memorial service will take place at a later date in Texas.
