Sarah Elizabeth Roach age 93, of Warren, Oklahoma died February 11, 1969 in Mangum, Oklahoma at Lou-Len Manor. She was born May 9, 1875 in San Antonio, Texas to William Jowett. Her parents came to Warren in 1886 from San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Jowett was the postmaster at Warren at the time of his death. Sarah married B.P. Roach February 27, 1938. He preceded her in death. Mr. Roach and Sarah homesteaded in the Warren area.
Funeral services for Sarah Elizabeth roach are scheduled for 2:30 pm Thursday February 13, 1969 at the Church of Christ in Warren, officiated by Ardron Hinton. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Sarah Elizabeth Roach is survived by two sons, Bill Roach, Warren, Oklahoma; Jack Roach, Warren, Oklahoma; five daughters, Mrs. H.W. Hinton Warren, Oklahoma; Mrs. W. L. Allen, Altus, Oklahoma; Orvel Elliott, Warren, Oklahoma; E. N. Risenhover, Stockton, California; Mrs. Ellis Cargal, Blair, Oklahoma; 27 grandchildren, 41, great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren.
Three sons and two daughters preceded her in death.
