Sarah Sharon Benedict was born January 18th, 1938 at Wellington, Texas. She died May 16, 1994 in Mesa, Arizona. She was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Swift. She graduated from Wellington High School. She married Hoyt Benedict March 16, 1986 in Vernon, TX. They moved to Mesa, Arizona where she was a Broker for the Prudential Arizona Realty Company. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Mesa.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Madison Clinton officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: her husband, Hoyt Benedict of the home; two children, Lauri Ann Weldon of Eldorado, OK and Daniel Patrick Earls of Granite, OK; seven grandchildren, Cory Lane Weldon, Kayce Michelle Weldon, Kelly Wyman Weldon, Derek Patrick Earls, Taylor Danielle Earls, Sheena Lee Earls and Coy Robert Earls; two great-grandchildren, Paxton Marie Weldon and Kanyon Lane Weldon.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; two sons, Larry Samuel Earls, Jr. and William Ray Earls; one brother, William P. Swift, Jr.
