Obituary for Scotty Wayne Scoggin
Scotty W. Scoggin was born June 28th, 1932 at Olustee, Oklahoma. He died September 27th, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Scotty attended Olustee School System through the eighth grade and graduated from Altus High School in 1950. He was a veteran of the 45th Oklahoma National Guard Unit. He served in Korea. He attended Oklahoma State University in 1952-1953. He married Patricia Hunt on April 3, 1953 at Wapanucka, OK. He was a life long resident of Jackson County. He was a well-known cattle buyer and businessman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and of the Altus Masonic Lodge #62 and also a member of the Guthrie Scottish Rites.

Services are scheduled for 3 P.M., Tuesday, September 29, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Feist and rev. Noel George officiating. Interment will be in the Victory Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Survivors include: his Mother, Dovie Drake of Altus, OK; his wife, Patricia (Pat) Scoggin of Olustee, Oklahoma; three children, Linda Anderson and husband Paul of Altus, OK, Patti Stephens and husband Robert of Choctaw, OK and DeeAnn and husband Scott of Blair, OK; six grandchildren, Gene, Paul, Melissa, Whitney-Anderson, Heather, Shannon Stephens, Meredith Henderson.

He was preceded in death by: his Father, Albert Scoggin; grandson, Christopher Brandon.
