Obituary for Shannon Lee Jackson
Shannon Lee Jackson passed away Tuesday, July 25, 1995 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Shannon was born September 9, 1908, at Corsicana, Texas. He was the son of the late Mack and Mollie Jackson. He came to Altus as a young man. On March 20, 1944, Shannon and Maudie Willis were united in marriage at Altus, Oklahoma.

Mr. Jackson was associated with the Railroad for many years and was an independent carpenter. He was a member of the Church of God In Christ, where he served as a Deacon for over 30 years. He was a Sunday School Superintendent at his church for over 50 years.

Shannon was preceded in death by his parents and 13 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Maudie of the home; and one sister, Ceaky Lewis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives and friends.
