Obituary for Sheridan Murphy
Sheridan Ann Murphy, lost her battle to cancer in Seminole Ok. On Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the age of 78. She was born Sept 7, 1940 in Altus, Oklahoma to John Benson & Nannie Pearl Murphy. She was born and raised in Altus, Oklahoma . She was the oldest of three girls. She later moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 2009 to be closer to her niece Lana Pyle. Sheridan enjoyed playing Bingo and doing arts and crafts. She loved watching Hallmark movies. She loved to read. She read her bible daily, The Altus newspaper and many other books. She had a daily journal she wrote in daily. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist church in Altus, Oklahoma. She had a special bond with niece Lana.
She is survived by four Nieces and two Nephews. Tonya Deines & husband Jim of Baird, Nebraska, Lana Pyle & husband Stan of Seminole, Ok., Stacy Stephen's & husband Shawn of Moore, Oklahoma . Michael Combs of Amarillo, Texas, Brian Scheller & wife Jennifer of Sterling, Alaska Angela Combs of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma six great nieces & nephews, five great great nieces and nephews. Her childhood friend Priscilla Mathis of California, and a special cousin JoAnn Tyra of Texas.
Sheridan is proceeded in death by her parents and her 2 sister's Bonita Combs and Janet Scheller and her special friend Lester. Thank you to my Niece and nephew, Lana and Stan Pyle for taking Great care of me. Thank you to the one's who cared for her over the years and in her final day's. A special Thank you to Heartland Hospice of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
