Sherrie Denise Kendall, a lifelong resident of Mangum, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loving family at the age of sixty three.
Born in Mangum, Oklahoma on November 2, 1961, to Rex and Mary Beth (Barker) Shephard, Sherrie graduated from Mangum High School in 1980. On August 21, 1983, she married her beloved husband, Keith Kendall. Together, they built a life anchored in faith, family, and unwavering love.
Sherrie will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit. An avid cook and skilled seamstress, she generously shared her creations with friends and family. She cherished nature, finding joy in birdwatching and quiet mornings outdoors. Above all, Sherrie treasured moments with her family—a devoted wife, daughter, and friend whose presence brought comfort and light to all who knew her. Her memory will be deeply cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Mary Beth Shephard.
Sherrie’s legacy lives on through her husband, Keith Kendall; her sons, Jeremy Kendall, and Nicholas Kendall and his wife Ally; her daughter, Sofi; her grandchildren, Alexa, Jayli, JJ, Jackson, and McKena Kendall; her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; and numerous extended family members and friends.
