Obituary for Sue Etta Thompson
Mrs. Sue Etta Thompson, age 70, long time resident of Eldorado, died Sunday at Bass Hospital in Enid of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at the Eldorado First Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Don Ladner. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born January 1st, 1904 in Farmersville, Texas, she was married to Odis Nelson and they moved to Elmer, later moving to the Eldorado Community. Mr. Nelson died in 1940. She was later married to Mr. W.G. Thompson who died in 1959. She was a member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: four daughters, Mrs. Norma Marshall, Enid, Mrs. Davie Marie Motley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Billie Jean Warlick of Brownwood, Texas, and Mrs. Goldia Lee Nelson of Torrance, CA; one brother, Mr. Charles Poynter of San Marcus, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Blount of Garland, TX and Mrs. Lorraine King of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren.
Mrs. Thompson will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
