Teresa Ann Hicks was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Bob F. and Mary Lee Perry on December 26, 1959. She attended Altus High School and graduated in 1979. She married Howard Hicks on March 2, 1977 in Altus, OK. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She has worked in Altus Public Schools since 1997 with the last 17 years spent teaching 1st grade.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents Bob F. and Mary Lee Perry.
Teresa is survived by her husband Howard of the home, son Ronnie Hicks and wife Dana of Holden, MO, daughter Dawn Hacker and husband Andy of Edmond, Brothers Kenneth Perry of Altus and Alan Perry of Ft. Cobb, grandchildren Tyler Hicks of Moyock, NC, and Kennedi Hacker of Edmond, and countless family members and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been created to help teachers with classroom supplies.

The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Altus.
Services are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
