WINTERS
Terry Lynn Winters, age 63, passed away at his residence northeast of Blair, early Thursday morning, November 28, 2013.
Terry was born in Altus on April 30, 1950, to Thomas Bert "Tink" and Doris Waunelle (Shaw) Winters. A 1968 graduate of Blair High School, Terry attended H.C. Lewis Electronics School, in Oklahoma City, after graduation. Returning to Blair after receiving his license in electrical contracting, Terry married Phyllis Ann Davis on July 17, 1970. Through the years, Terry worked on many projects in the area, but his special times were spent fishing, hunting and farming. Terry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Loyd Winters, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Lynn Winters and fianc"e Stacy Hupfer of Blair; two grandchildren, Haylie Winters and Kenzie Winters; one sister, Sonya Tutten of Blair; nieces, Tera Leigh Winters, Shea Lynn Hollen, Tammy Philo; nephews, Tim Winters and Dusty Tutten; extended family, Lynda James, Danny "Brother" James, Jr., Kristie James, Riley James and Austin Barnes along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Terry Winters will be at 2 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Tyler McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Blair Cemetery Fund and JCMH Hospice.
