Thelma Cleo Harrod
Thelma Harrod, 80, of Altus died Sunday at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services
will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 1991 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Keith Wiginton. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home, 1100 Tamarack Road, Altus, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Harrod was born April 23, 1910 in Ranger, Texas. She moved to Altus at an early age and has lived here since. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus.
Thelma is preceded in death by Ernest Dean Harrod, February 4, 1977, Kenneth Harrod, July 27,1981 and Jerry Harrod, May 1,1990. She is survived by three children: Thomas Harrod, Jr and wife Sherry of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Mary Nightingale and husband LeRoy of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma and Brenda Pruskowski and husband Bill of Murfeesboro, Tennessee. One Brother Hurshell Stapp of Bakersville, California. Three sisters; Exia Dell Byers of Vernon, Texas, Lois Smith of Yukon, Oklahoma and Aubrey Palmer of Altus, Oklahoma . Also Thirteen Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.
