Thelma was born March 18, 1913, in Oklahoma, to Arch Thompson. She married Newt Barber June 1, 1932 in Wewoika, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1976. Thelma had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1946.
Funeral services for Thelma Barber are scheduled for Monday, January 21, 1982 at 2:00 pm in St. Paul's Episcapal Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. James ?. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Thelma is survived by her step-daughter, Joy Lou Borla, two sisters, Eules Thompson, Ft. Worth, Texas; G. L. Butler, Baytown, Texas.
