Thelma was born January 9, 1911 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Martin K. and Ester V. (West) Martin.
She married John Jones, he preceded her in death August 1979. Thelma worked and retired from Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Thelma Jones are scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 1982 at 2 :00 pm in the Baptist Church, Warren, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Russell Lovell. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Thelma is survived by three daughters, Wanda Wallace, Dallas, Texas; Marline Star, Bakersfield, California; Betty Adkins, Tempe Arizona; two sons, Bert Lowery, Wetumpka, Alabama; Pete Lowery, Dallas, Texas; five step sons, Kenneth Jones, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; John C. Jones, Marshall, Texas; Carroll M. Jones Carona, California; George Mack Jones, McMinnesville, Oregon; Robert Jones, Fonatana California; one step daughter, Donna Beene, Tulsa, Oklahoma seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister Odella Dennis.
