Obituary for Theodore "Ted" R. Parker
Theodore R. "Ted" Parker age 74, of Altus, passed away January 17, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Ted was born June 29, 1907 in Roanoke, Texas to Robert Hardy and Minnie (Rhoads) Parker. He married Loreda Evelyn Finley October 6, 1929, in Altus. Ted was a self employed floor contractor and member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Altus. He belonged to IooF Lodge 85 and Rebecka Lodge 155and was past District Deputy Grand Master of District 9 and former city Councilman.
Funeral services for Theodore Parker are scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 1982, at 2 pm at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Hoyett Lemmon. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Ted is survived by his wife, Loreda of the home in Altus; three sons Theodore Finley Parker of New York, New York; Mabry Parker, Mesa, Arizona; Robert Zachary Parker, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; grandsons, Mabry Newton Parker Jr., Mesa, Arizona; Richard Robert Parker, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; Randall Scott Parker, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Debora Diane Parker Durgy, Goveners Island, New York; Lynda Renee parker, Kicklighter, Altus, Oklahoma; Melody Lynn Parker, Ft.
