Obituary for Theresa Moore
Theresa (Bassel) Moore was born July 24, 1904 at McQueen, OK toB.J. and Essie Belle Bassel. They homesteaded Southeast of McQueen in 1898 where Theresa was born. She died November 17th, 1992 at Altus, OK. She married Henry Moore on May 29, 1920 at McQueen, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death October 8, 1992. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She was a homemaker and member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Thursday, November 19, 1992 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Rev. Richard McDole will officiate with interment being in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: a daughter, Dorris Roberson of Altus, OK; two sisters, Cleta Belle Andrus of Tulia, TX and Dorothy Jean Pate of Altus, OK; three grandchildren, Brenda Milligan of Bowie, TX, Pat Puckett of Spur, TX and Linda Perkins of Decatur, TX; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Billie Joyce Puckett; her husband, Henry Jefferson Moore; a brother, Steve Bassel.
