Obituary for Thomas Walton Harrod
Thomas Walton "T.W." Harrod, age 83, was born December 1st, 1910, in Hattisburg, Mississippi. Mr. Harrod passed away Wednesday, July 20th, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 1994, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three children, Thomas Harrod, Jr. and wife Sherry of Lake Kiowa, TX, Mary Nightingale and husband LeRoy of Fort Cobb, OK and Brenda Pruskowski and husband Bill of Murfreeboro, TN; two brothers, John Harrod and Robert Harrod, both of Altus, OK; three sisters, Alice Penland and Nellie Thomas of Sulphur Springs, TX and Ruth Padgett of Garland, TX; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Thelma (Stapp) Harrod; three sons, Ernest, Kenneth and Jerry Harrod; one sister, Jennette (Harrod) Warden.
