Obituary for Tracy Jean Lorah
Tracy Jean Lorah, 61, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at her home. Tracy was born on November 23, 1962, in Altus, Oklahoma to Joe Earl and Judy May (Wilson) Conrad.
She attended Altus Public Schools and graduated from Olustee High School in 1981. She graduated from Western Oklahoma State College with her Associates Degree, Cameron University with a Bachelors Degree, and finally from Liberty University, where she earned her Masters Degree. Tracy was always learning and reading. She went on to become a counselor
where she loved being able to help others. She married the love of her life, Jeff Lorah, on August 30, 1986, at the First United Methodist Church in Altus, Oklahoma. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, and served for various organizations including CASA and the National Alliance of Mental Illness. Over the years Tracy served as the Executive
Director/CEO of the Great Plains Red Cross, Vice President of Operations for New Hope CDU, LLC, and Clinical Director of Southwestern Youth Services. In 2018 she achieved her lifelong goal in opening her own counseling center Altus Family Counseling LLC. Tracy cherished spending time with her grandbabies. Engaging in her morning devotional calls
with her sisters. Her passion was to counsel, minister and support to anyone in need. Survivors include her husband, Jeff, of the home; two sons, Justin Cade Lorah and Joshua Caleb Lorah; two daughters, Penny Kay and husband, Jonathan Reece, and Jessica Caitlin and husband, Stetson Terry; 12 grandchildren, Joshua and Sophie Lorah, of the home, Maycee and
Wyatt Terry, Easton, Evan and Treverly Reece, Daniel Cipolla, Jude and Maggie Conrad, Caden Amore-Lorah, and Kylee Amore; two sisters, Tammy and husband, Robert Nucci, and Jeri Lyn and husband, Brent Drury; many other family members and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Don Conrad; and a granddaughter, Lillian Marie Lorah.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 19, 2024, at the First Methodist Church in Altus Oklahoma with Rev. Jerry Raab officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
