Obituary for Tressie Leona Harrell
Tressie Leona Harrell, age 85 passed away Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 17, 1914 in Polk County, Arkansas to the late John and Dela (Whitaker) Lively. Tressie had lived in the Altus and Jackson County area for over 50 years.

Tressie and Russell were married in the early 1930's. He preceded her in death July 18, 1980.

Tressie enjoyed reading, writing and spending time with her family. She was a longtiome member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include nine children, Leona Strickland and husband J.W. of Amarillo, Texas, Faye Noakes and husband Jack of Ola, Arkansas, Lavada Bercegeay and husband Al of Martha, Oklahoma, Maxine Ware if Martha, Oklahoma, Linda Owens and husband Jimmy of Chouteau, Oklahoma ,Joyce Spottedbird and husband Stephen of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Joe Bob Harrell and wife Ruth Ann of Wapanucka, Oklahoma, Leonard Ray Harrell and wife Velma of Altus, Oklahoma,; one sister, Mary Ann Williams and husband Billy of Leesville, Louisiana, thirty-six grandchildren, ans a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Russell B. Harrell, one daughter Caroline Sue Carter, her parents, John and Dela Lively, two brothers and one sister.
funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 9, 1999 Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Hone,
