Treva Martin Archer



Treva Martin Archer was born November 13, 1939 at Whitesboro, Texas. she died January 23, 1993 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She married Adrian Martin June 14, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1990. She married Tom Archer July 18, 1991 at the First Baptist Church in Altus. She had been a resident of Jackson County over 25 years. She had been a member of the Duke Baptist Church until moving her membership to the First Baptist Church in Altus.
She had worked for Civil Service at the Altus Air Force Base over 21 years in the environmental Health Division until her retirement. She was a member of Penwomen Club in Altus and had several items published. She was a member of the Discovery 1 Sunday School Class. She had been active member of the Choir. She was a wonderful wife and mother who held her family in the highest esteem.
Services are scheduled for 3 pm Tuesday January 26, 1993 at the First Baptist Church of Altus with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery west of Duke, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include her mother Lucille Russell, husband Tom Archer; children, Joel Martin and Deanna of Danville, Illinois, Vyarly Martin of Alexandria, Virginia; Kip Martin of Fort Walton Beach Florida; brother Stanley Davis of Arlington, Texas; step-son, Randy Archer and wife Wilda of Mt. Park, Oklahoma; two step-children, Will and Arm Amy Archer.
She was preceded in death by husband, Adrain Martin in 1990.
