Obituary for Twana Lou Thomason
TWANA THOMASON
Twana Lou Thomason, age 69 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday. March 15, 2006 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 12, 1936 at Friendship, Okl.ahoma to George Roy and Ollie ( Thompson) Brake. Moving to Eldorado as a young girl, Twana later graduated from Eldorado High School in 1954. On December 21, 1954, she married the love of her life, Donald Thomson, and they spent fifty-one wonderful years together before her death. In 1962, they moved to Altus and established their home. For many years, Twana worked for Doctors Alva Hill, Mark Smith and Mark Goodman as a dental assistant before her retirement., As a member of the First Baptist Church, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Donald of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; three children, Mark Thomason and wife Susan of Tulsa, Steve Thomason and wife Teresa of Elmer, and Janna Roe of Altus; three sisters, Maxine Hogan of Mangum, Clois Walker and husband David of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Pat Lewis of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Wade Brake.
