Obituary for Tychance “Ty” “Flame 9” Vashaun Martin
Tychance Martin, aka “Flame 9â€, age 30 of Oklahoma City and formerly of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Altus.
Tychance was born in Altus on March 1, 1989 to his parents Michael Fulbright and Angala Martin. He attended Altus High School and received his GED in 2018 and he also attended the Southwestern Technology Center in Altus. Tychance married Melvia) Patterson) Martin and he worked for Climate Craft Inc. and most recently was employed as a welder and fabricator. Tychance enjoyed hanging out with friends, eating good food, listening to music, laughing, and most of all being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Patricia Lewis-Thomas; Tychance is survived by his father, Michael Fulbright; his mother, Angala Martin; his special mentor, Joe; two sons, Keenan Martin; and Josiah Ty’Chance Martin; two daughters, Zariah Martin; and Ty Kaih Martin; one brother, Keyon Martin; two sisters, Sharena Martin; and Shawn Fulbright; grandparents, Joycetta Fulbright; Elvita Martin; and Earline Lewis; his nephew, Artavion Martin; as well as numerous other family members and many friends.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday evening, September 20, 2019 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
Homegoing services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus.
Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Altus under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus.
