Obituary for Vada Merle Foster
Vada Merle Foster, age 72, of 908 N. Hudson, Altus, died September 4th, 1976 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Sunday, September 5th, at the First Baptist Church in Altus with the Reverend Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Foster was a Practical Nurse and a Housewife and she belonged to the First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher.

Survivors included: one son, James A. of McCloud, OK; one daughter, Wilma Whesler of Anadarko, OK; five grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four sisters, Bertha Bell of Greenville, TN, Irene Hightower of Grand Prairie, Thelma Enoch of Waco, TX and Allene Roudelka also of Waco, TX.
