Following in his family footsteps before him, Vicente managed all aspects of farming from harvesting to livestock, and also started M & M Weed Spraying, which he operated for ten years. He later owned and operated a farm in Greer County where he grew wheat and raised cattle. Vicente worked at American Gypsum and Capital Wire in Denton Texas as a maintenance technician before moving to Dallas in 2007 and going to work in the oil field industry as a private contractor and later in Columbus Mississippi.
