Victor Louis Garces, 12, of Hollis, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 in Hollis, Oklahoma.
He was born September 6, 2007 in Altus, Oklahoma to Salvador Garces Jr. and Victoria Galvan. Victor was raised in Hollis, Oklahoma. He enjoyed making jokes, playing practical jokes on his friends and family, and being a comedian, playing video games, spending time at family gatherings and hanging out with his friends.
He attended Templo La Hermosa church in Hollis, Oklahoma. He enjoyed playing basketball, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis youth group and The FBI ( Faithful Bible Investigators)
Victor is survived by his Mother Victoria Galvan of the home, Father Salvador Garces, Jr. of Hollis, Oklahoma, Brother; Salvador Garces III, Sister; Juanita Victoria Garces, Maternal Grandmother Janie Benavidez, Maternal Grandfather; Joe Lopez, Paternal Grandparents; Salvador Garces, Sr. and wife Rachel, half brothers; Xavier and Chris Garces, Aunts; Veronica and husband James Luper, Cecilia Galvan, Tina Cantu, April Garcia, Uncles; Servando Galvan, Sr. and wife Jennifer, Santiago Galvan, Jr. and wife Diarra, Rudy Garces, Casey Salazar, Bobby Garces. his two best friends Justyce and Promise, Numerous cousins and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents; Irene Vasquez and Wenceslau Vasquez, paternal great grandparents; Ezekiel and Maria Garces, great uncles Juan Vasquez, Victor Vasquez (whom Victor was named after) Cousins, Danny Vasquez and Carmen Lynn Fennel.
The Garces and Galvan family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Friday December 20, 2019 at Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 21, 2019 at The First Baptist Church of Hollis, Oklahoma interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
