Violet Schwab was born February 14, 1911 at Snyder, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Issac R. and Lillie (Howard) Cupp. She died August 10, 2000 at Altus, Oklahoma. She married John Weldon Schwab, June 14, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in March 10, 1991.
Violet graduated from Snyder High School. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Elsie Lane of Stockton, California, Rachel Hendrix of Oklahoma and Lillie May Zumwalt of Lawton, Oklahoma; and one brother, Tom R. Cupp of Clayton, Oklahoma.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother, Warren Cupp.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2000 at the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Madison Clinton officiating. Interment will follow at the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
