Obituary for Virgie Mae Garrison
Virgie Mae Garrison, age 59 of Altus, died at the Grace Living Center Saturday, May 3, 2003. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Enterprise Cemetery near Wapanucka, Oklahoma. Rev. Jason Duree pastor of the Southside Baptist church will officiate. Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.Born November 12, 1943 she was the daughter of Edgar William Garrison and Minnie Florence Walters Garrison. She worked at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Midwest City and enjoyed crafts of many kinds including bowling, Special Olympics, and crocheting.

Survivors include: one sister Alice Freed and her husband Dwain of Altus; one brother Charlie Garrison of Libbock, Texas; two sister-in-laws; Joy Garrison and Curly Ross of Borger, Texas. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

The family requests that contributions can be made to the Trinity Hospice in Elk City, Oklahoma.
