Virginia Mackey, 54, of Altus died at Jackson County Memorial Hospital Thursday, February 21. Mrs. Mackey resided at 705 west Pecan, and had lived in Altus for 30 years. She was born April, 27, 136 in Atlanta, Texas and married Henry Crawford later in life at Vernon, Texas. She was a housewife and a member of the Sunset Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday at the Sunset Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Altus Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Harris officiating.
Mrs. Mackey is survived by her children, Wendlon Barker, Altus, Oklahoma; Lewis Edwards, Salina, Kansas, Joyce White, Altura, California; Debbie Edwards, Altus, Oklahoma; Carl Edwards, Altus, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren.
