Virginia Nell Reeves, age 74, of Manitou, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, January 5, 1995 in Comanche County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born November 11, 1920, in Frederick, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Oliver Franklin and Gracie Bell "McIntyre" Bruner. She was a lifelong resident of Tillman County, graduating from Laing Consolidated Number One School.
On August 25, 1952, she and Benton Allen Reeves were united in marriage at Raton, New Mexico. She was a homemaker and a former saleslady for "Marcoms" and "Marks" in Frederick for many years.
Virginia is survived by Allen Reeves, her husband of 42 years; two daughters and son-in-laws, Nita Kay and Bobby Wolfe and Georgia and Bobby Jackson all of Frederick, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Tina Morgan, also of Frederick.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alice Evelyn Vaught and Grace Thelma Jimerson.
