V.O. Chambers was born October 17, 1911 in Virginia. He died May 29, 1991 at Jackson County memorial Hospital He married Beulah Clapp in 1955 at Wichita Falls, Texas. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He had served during World War II. He had been a resident of Altus since 1977. He was a member of the D.A. V. and the V.F.W. Services are scheduled for 12:30 pm Friday May 31, 1991 at the Burkhalter Chapel at the Frederick Cemetery in Frederick, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Granville Clapp. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife Beulah Clapp Chambers of Altus, Oklahoma; brothers, Volney Chambers of Altus, Oklahoma; Jim Chambers of Charlotte, Virginia; grandson, Joey Chambers.

Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his mother and father.
