Obituary for Walter E. Howe
Walter E. Howe age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma, died October 22, 1969 at Memorial Hospital in Altus.
He was born May 27, 1876 in Longton, Kansas to Phillip Howe. He married Lona McCarty. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Jackson County for the past 55 years.

Funeral services for Walter E. Howe are scheduled for 2:00pm October 24, 1969 at Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Richard Williams. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Walter E. Howe is survived by his wife Lona of the home in Altus; one son Col. Charles P. Howe, retired, Temple, Texas; one daughter, Evelyn Harper, Columbia, Missouri; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ed. Reeves, Mangum.
