Obituary for Wanda L Watson

Wanda Lane Watson, lifetime resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on April 4th, 2025 at the age of eighty-eight.


Wanda Lane Watson was born on December 24th, 1936 in Altus, Oklahoma where she graduated from Altus High School in 1955. She married the love of her life, Eudon H. Watson on March 12, 1955. Together, they had four sons: Kyle, Steve, Donald, and Ronald.

Don retired after serving in the United States Army for 28 years. Wanda and Don loved in Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Fort Lee, Virginia, Tacoma, Washington, and through two tours in Germany. After retiring they settled back in Altus, where Wanda lived for most of her life. Wanda worked in Civil Service for 10 years during this time and worked selling Real Estate for over 40 years.


Wanda was preceded in death by her parents H.L. Lane and Minnie Lane; husband Eudon Watson; sons Ronald and Steve Watson; grandsons Michael and Joel Watson; and daughter-in-law Brenda Watson.

She is survived by her sons Kyle Watson, Don Watson and wife Brenda Kay; niece Cheryl Simco and husband Scot.


Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home & Crematory of Altus, Oklahoma.
