Obituary for Wanda Mae Houston
Wanda Mae Houston was born January 25th, 1930 at Elmer, Oklahoma. She died August 30, 1990 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married James Houston in 1945 at Altus and he preceded her in death on February 10, 1978. She was a homemaker and long time resident of Jackson County.
Survivors include: three daughters, Kathy Lowrey of Portland, OR, Carrie DeForest of Altus, OK and Tammy Feller of Duncan, OK; five sons, Jimmy Houston of Stockton, CA, Gary Houston of Joshua, TX, Mike Houston of Altus, OK, James Houston of Copeville, TX and Sammy Houston of Ft. Worth, TX; her Mother, Ola Smith of Altus, OK; four sisters, JoAnn Chester, Linda Hernandez and Barbara Lollis, all of Altus, OK, and Sue York of Ft. Worth, TX; three brothers, Bobby and Gene Smith of Altus, OK and Charles Smith of Tuscon, AZ.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 1990at the Tim's Chapel of Memories. Officiating will be Rev. William L. Gipson. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by: her Father, Sam Smith and by her brother, Junior Smith.
