Obituary for Warren Charles Smith
Warren Charles Smith, 68, of Elmer, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Warren was born in Rockford, Illinois on June 8, 1944 to Gerald and Mary Smith. On September 19, 1964, he and Janet Kiesow were married in Rockton, Illinois.

Warren enjoyed life by driving around the country with his wife in a semi-truck for Reliable Carriers for over 20 years, hauling automobiles. He always said he felt like he was on a paid vacation instead of working.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed riding his Gold Wing and going fishing. He enjoyed spending his free time with his daughter - he would do anything with her of for her and for his grandchildren when they came along. Family was very important to Warren. His dream was to see his grandchildren graduate from college. He was a very caring and loving husband and will greatly by his family and many friends.

Warren is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 48 years, Janet Smith; one daughter, Tina Marie Utter and husband Robert; two grandchildren, Brandon M, Borgmann and Tiffany M. Borgmann; three brothers, Dean, Wayne and Dale Smith; one sister, Jill McLaughlin; and by numerous family and friends.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
