Obituary for Waxie Foley
Waxie Foley, age 76, departed this life on Wednesday, June 19th, 1996. Services have been scheduled for Monday, June 24, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God In Christ. Rev. Archie Latham will be officiating. Interment will be at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Foley was born on September 19th, 1919 to Early and Berthina Ross. She was the second of two children. Waxie married Jesse James Foley in Altus, OK in 1948. Together they had two children, Flater and Jesse Foley, Jr.

Survivors include: one son, Jesse Foley, Jr. and his wife Diane of Anaheim, California; one brother, Ivey Ross of Portland, OR; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Flater Jackson.
