Mr. Wiley Fletcher Alexander, age 84, Altus House, died on February 22nd, 1977 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He had lived in Jackson County for the past 36 years.
Born May 26th, 1892 in Jackson, Tennessee, he was married to the former Ida Mae Lewis on July 22, 1915 in Telephone, Texas. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Friday, Tims Chapel of Memories, with Dean Cullup officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Ida, of the home in Elmer; three daughters, Lorene Fulbright of El Paso, TX, Dorothy Johnston of Capitan, NM, Marcelle Magness of Elmer; two sons, Calvin Alexander of Portales, NM and Dean Alexander of Othello, WA; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Della Hamilton of Oklahoma City; one brother, Floyd Alexander of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Alexander in May 1976.
