William Coy Allen, age 71, a long time resident of Altus, passed away Friday evening at Baptist Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services have been set for Monday, September 29, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery, under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born November 3rd, 1914 at Tishomingo, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Hatton and Lela Bell Allen. He was married to Oleta Hardy. Mr. Allen was retired from Civil Service and was employed for the Cross-Walk at Roosevelt School. He was a Veteran serving in World War II.
Survivors include: his wife, Oleta Allen of the home; one son, Coy Dale Allen of Altus, Oklahoma; two daughters, Betty Collier and Joyce Atchley of Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, Herman Allen of California and Dillard Allen of Altus, Oklahoma; four sisters, Lona Inklebarger and Elsie McCaslin of Blair, OK, Coleen Norton of Altus, Oklahoma and Lucille Allen of Ripon, CA.
