Willard J. Johnson, 75, long time resident of Altus died at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Friday morning. Services are scheduled for Sunday at 2:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Chapel officiated by Sonny Tims. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

John was born October 1, 1915 at Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He was the son of Hugh and Delphia Johnson. He moved to the Altus area at age 15. He married the former Bonnie Barnes October 2, 1937 in Altus. He was a retired salesman and member of the Baptist Church. He was also a Veteran of World War II where he served in the Army Air Corps. A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Woodman of the World, and had received his 4 year pin with the Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Bonnie Johnson, Altus, Oklahoma; children, Gaynell Preston, Blair, Oklahoma; Linda Barclay, Altus, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his mother and father.
