Mr. William Alfred "Bill" Luker, age 86, of Eldorado, died on August 15th, 1978 at his residence.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., 17 Aug 1978, at the Eldorado First Baptist Church with the Reverend Don Ladner officiating. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born December 20th, 1891 at Gustine, Texas, he was married in 1935 at Vernon, Texas to the former Elmyra Bennett.
Survivors include: two sons, Buck Luker of Baytown, Texas and Marcus Luker of Irving, Texas; one step-son, Mr. Elva Hager of Turlock, CA; four daughters, Francis Braker of Casa Grande, AZ, Pauline Durham of Houston, TX, rande, AZ, and Barbara Wilson of Houston, TX; two brothers, Edison Luker of Gustine, TX and Raymond Luker of Brownwood, TX; three sisters, Willa Mae Evans of Mexico, Nellie Bean and Mayme Ross Carlton, both of Gustine, TX;
17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
