Obituary for William Anderson
William Anderson age 74 of Altus, Oklahoma died June 25, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.

William was born May 8, 1908 in Moody, Texas to Albert and Minnie (Smoots) Anderson. William married Lila s June 6, 1944 in Olustee, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army from September 1942 until October 1945. William was a member of the American Legion and had been a resident of Jackson for the past 35 years.

Funeral services for William Anderson are scheduled for Monday, June 28, 1982 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Carl McCoy and Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

William Anderson is survived by his wife Lila of the home in Altus; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Harper, Waco, Texas; Vera Duncan, Lorena, Texas; one brother, Mr. E. L. Anderson, Dallas, Texas.
