Obituary for William Grady Martin
Mr. William Grady Martin, age 67, of 214 N. 5th, Eldorado, died Tuesday morning, January 16, 1968, unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include: his wife, Beulah, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Tigert and Mrs. Tommy Freeman, both of Eldorado; four brothers, Luther Martin, J.H. Price, Frank Hall and Guy Burkett, all of Yuma, AZ; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Parks of Grandfield and Mrs. Ray Meyers of Yuma, AZ; six grandchildren.
Born on May 6th, 1900 in Oklahoma, he married the former Bertha Scott on February 13, 1924 in Eldorado. He has lived in the Jackson County area for the past 62 years, having come here from Dixie, OK. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ in Eldorado.
Services have been set for 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 18, 1968, at the Church of Christ in Eldorado, officiated by Bro. Bill Osborne. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
