William Harlan Beauchamp, 78, passed away Thursday, July 13, 1995, in the Quartz Mountain Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
William was born February 1, 1917, in Caustus, New Mexico, the son of the late Henry and Alvenia Clark Beauchamp.
On January 7, 1950, William and Joyce Beggs wire united in marriage at Clayton, New Mexico, and she preceded him in death in 1985.
Mr Beauchamp was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Jackie McWaters; two sisters, Della and Verlie; and four brothers, Preston, Leon, Charles and Dick.
He is survived by five children and two daughters-in-law, Johnnie Gray of Oklahoma City, Janice Crews of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Phillip and Brenda Beauchamp of Altus, Dennis and Judy Beauchamp of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Michael Beauchamp of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Becky Lavake and Winnie Burgess, both of Stratford, Texas; Utahonna Thompson of Iowa Park, Texas; and Erma Lee Drennan of Goodland, Kansas; ten grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Evelyn Riddle.
