William O."Billy" Berk, age 26, of Altus Air Force Base was born November 30th, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Billy passed away Sunday, June 23rd, 1996, in the Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Lawton, Oklahoma, from the results of a motorcycle accident.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 1996, in the Altus Air Force Base Chapel with full Military Honors. Burial will be in Tipp City, Ohio. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Memorials may be made to the Tipp City United Methodist Church, Tipp City, Ohio. On September 19, 1991, he and Kristin D. Shollenberger were united in marriage at Tipp City, OH.
Billy was stationed at Altus Air Force Base and at the time of his death held the rank of E-4. He was a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church, Tipp City, Ohio.
Mr. Berk was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Hazel Oetzel; and a grandfather, John D. Berk.
He is survived by: his Father, John D. Berk and his Mother, Kay E. Berk of Tipp City, Ohio; his wife, Kristin D. Berk; a brother, Christopher Berk of Chicago, IL; a sister, Lindalee R. Berk of Tipp City, Ohio; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. John D. Berk.
