Obituary for William Ray Goodin
Mr. William Ray Goodin, age 78, long time resident of Kiowa County died Monday night at Elkview Hospital in Hobart.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Cooperton. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born August 3rd, 1895, he came to the Cooperton community in 1906. He was married at Hobart in 1916 to the late Fannie Flowers. She died in 1968. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Goodin of Mt. Park and Donald Goodin of Meers, OK; one daughter, Mrs. Margie Rhae Johnson of Hydro; two brothers, Renn Goodin of Hereford, TX and Bob Goodin of Roosevelt; four sisters, Cora Simons and Helen Shew, both of Vallejo, CA, Faye Dougherty of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Lowell Memorial Chapel in Roosevelt.
