Obituary for William Rome Hartsfield
Mr. William Rome Hartsfield, age 100, of English Village Nursing Home, died November 3rd, 1976 of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services have been set for Friday, 2:00 P.M., Tims Chapel, with the Reverend Bill Mease officiating. Burial will be in the Martha Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Hartsfield was born on October 15th, 1876 and he was married to the former Minnie B. Grimes on September 3, 1901 in Bell County, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 11, 1971.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Georgy Blackerby of Wichita Falls, TX and Mrs. Lonnie Martin of Martha, OK; five grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Hartsfield of Oxford, MS; one sister, Mrs. Cleveland Tarver of Memphis, TN.
