Obituary for William Thadeus Franks
William Thadeus Franks, age 78, passed away yesterday at the Quanah Memorial Hospital in Quanah, TX.

Services have been set for Tuesday, March 10, 1987 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Eldorado, with the Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of the Lowell Funeral Home.

He was born May 25, 1908 at Saint Jo, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Lena Opal Franks on the 15th day of August 1928, near Martha, OK. For the past 46 years they have lived and farmed in the Eldorado Community.

Survivors include: his wife, Lena Opal Franks of the home; one son, Billy Ray Franks of Rusk, TX; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one daughter, Jan Freeman preceded him in death in 1983.
