Funeral services for Mr. Willie Maud Anderson, 65, of Altus are scheduled for Saturday, December 11 at 2:00pm at St. Johns Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Bostic and Rev. James Hill will officiate. Mrs Anderson died December 8, 1993 at her residence. Mrs. Willie Maud Anderson was born July 30, 1928 to Raymond and Ida wells in Ferris, Texas. They later moved to Axtell, Texas where she attended Axtell school and later transferred to Amore High School in Waco, Texas. She was married to Fritz Shepard in Astell, Texas. She united with the New Jerusaleum Baptist Church. Later moving to Altus where she united with St. John Baptist Church. Interment will be at the Altus cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include her mother Ida Thomas Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma; children Virginia Bethel of Phoenix, Arizona; Ronald Shepard of Dallas, Texas; Stan Shepard of Forestville, Maryland; Gregory Shepard of Los Angeles, California; Gary Shepard of Los Angeles, California; Raymond Shepard of Washington, D.C.' Janet Jefferson of Altus, Oklahoma; brothers, Marion Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma; Charlie Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma; Ralph Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma; Bobby Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma; sisters, Elizabeth M Keaver of Altus, Oklahoma; Ollie Wilson of Seattle Washington; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband several brothers and sister.
